My desire to inspire others, soon became a desire to awaken others to the present misdeeds of our corporate 'handlers'....so to speak. I felt it necessary to expose the 'daily misinformation' fed us by Washington, rubber-stamped, war-friendly newscasts. I now attempt to research critical areas, and to publish my findings on this website.
Global citizens have a rising awareness, an understanding that never existed before. In the words of a former, technical bureaucrat for the Canadian Armed Forces (who chooses to remain anonymous): "We are witnessing previous democratic governance being replaced with 'Total Spectrum Control'. The corporate-power-elite, who pull the strings of all Western governments today, are engaged in a total spectrum control of space, the banking systems, the media, the military, the politicians, the education systems, foreign policies of member nations, and the internet."
By visiting my website of compiled investigations and perspectives, you may feel inspired to increase the impact of your own activism. Internet technology and global citizen networking have allowed this to happen. Citizens in India, Iraq, Libya, Ghana, Australia, Britain, America and Canada can be found having meaningful discussion...together.
But let's not kid ourselves, most of the population still believe in daily, war-friendly, televised, news broadcasts as reality - not propaganda. For every website that is put up on the net to help inform citizens of the obvious corruption by the global bankers and corporateers....there are ten sites that are deliberately designed to misinform and confuse those very citizens searching for answers and explanations.
Perception Management (Fabricated News Stories) In his novel, "The Whole Truth", author David Baldacci describes (in Chapter 19) something called 'Perception Management'. A huge defense contractor, hires a 'perception management firm' to start a second war by planting fabricated news stories on the Internet. He describes to us what a 'propaganda campaign' is like. It reminds me of how the myths of Bin Laden and Al Qaeda were foisted upon the unwary North American public over the years. Those myths have become so ingrained in the mind of the public as 'truth', that those of us who expose the lies are quickly 'marginalized' and mocked. Today, we are being inundated with trumped-up charges and fabricated news stories to garner support for further warfare in the Middle East. Much like the trumped-up charges and fabricated stories (of weapons of mass destruction) used to justify war on Iraq. See: Secrets of Gulf War http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7eurP-t3Z0
I will quote Richard Sanders, coordinator, Coalition to Oppose the Arms Trade: "In his novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, George Orwell developed the concept of "doublethink," which he described as: "The power of holding two contradictory beliefs in one's mind simultaneously, and accepting both of them...To tell deliberate lies while genuinely believing in them, to forget any fact that has become inconvenient." This mental process has also been described as a form of: "trained, willful, intellectual blindness to contradictions in a belief system. Doublethink differs from ordinary hypocrisy in that the 'double-thinking' person deliberately forgets the contradiction between his two opposing beliefs --and then deliberately forgets that he has forgotten the contradiction. Orwell described it as 'controlled insanity'."
Richard Sanders gives us an example: "Unfortunately, the deception about Canada's supposed 'non-involvement in the Iraq war' is just one facet within a much larger mythology that paints Canada as a global champion for peace, human rights and democracy." "Canadians, quite understandably, do not want to give up their comfortable self-image as a global peacemaker." "Exposing evidence that debunks a popular Canadian myth, such as the deception that Canada refused to join the Iraq war, is indeed a challenging task." See "Canada's Secret War with Iraq" http://www.commonground.ca/iss/199/cg199_iraq.shtml
Conclusion: "We may lead the horse to water, but we can not make it drink." Unfortunately, the general population has been misled to believe that even though they are thirsty, they must not drink water. Drink anything but water. Don't dare question our government's excuses to engage in warfare. Don't dare question the validity of televised newscast events and opinions. Don't drink that water of inquiry and investigation.
This is the challenging task for concerned desk-top activists. This is where I have chosen to make a stand. I choose to help others become aware of the exploitation, corruption, and usary perpetrated by our ruling class. However, I have been called an idiot, a conspiracy theorist, a nutter, a twoofer, a Liberal, a Communist, and even anti-American. Such insults and disrespectful put-downs are a poor attempt to marginalize my efforts. Insults are an attempt to ''police'' thoughts which differ from mainstream thinking. Such attempts only increase my efforts to help inform others of our predicament.
Because I am convinced we Westerners live in a corporate dictatorship, I am grateful that a few 'benevolent' international corporateers and banksters might, someday soon, rise to the call and dare to bring about insightful, compassionate, and globally uplifting policies....rather than the global banking fraud, global warfare, global plundering of weaker nations, and corporate 'welfare' which is being foisted upon world citizenry today.
Possibly, the recent Strauss Kahn frame-up is an example of how 'an IMF leader who dared to slow the exploitation of the world citizenry' is quickly marginalized and removed from power. http://www.rense.com/general94/framep.htm
Added note:
Doublespeak is a process of misleading, distorting, deceiving, inflating, circumventing; as well as, obfuscating. It is a language that refers to lies being used as "strategic misrepresentations" and therefore avoids responsibility. Doublespeak is a language that makes the bad seem good, the negative appear positive, and something unpleasant appear attractive. It is a language that only appears to communicate. It's a language designed to alter our perception of reality and corrupt our thinking.
We need to be on constant alert so that those who create and use doublespeak can't use it to control, manipulate, deceive, use, and abuse us.
—Compiled from Doublespeak Defined by William Lutz; Harper Resource, Division of Harper Collins Publishers; 1999; pages IX to XIV.
In the world of politics, war and military... the manipulation of words and terminology is a tool of mass deception.
Such concepts as: *military aggression by the US, Israel, or NATO member countries is being called "defense." *defense by the citizens of an invaded nation is being called "terrorism." *war of terror by NATO allied forces is being called "peacemaking." *killing of foreign citizens during NATO wars of aggression is being called "collateral damage"
And the list is endless. The play on words is masterful and the public is fed garbage constantly.
In one web blog I found this individual's remarks: "Any use of these three banned words – Ron Pau!, si!ver or go!d – will cause such massive shock and awe distortions in basic common human vibration that our weapon of mass distraction, ABCNNBCBS-FOX, will be rendered useless; dissolving our thriving civil society into the type of warmongering anarchy we incubate over there in the Middle East." http://dont-tread-on.me/forum/dont-tread-on-me/netanyahu-to-putin-stop-selling-missiles-to-iran/?paged=13 "Always remember: War is peace. Slavery is freedom. Ignorance is strength. Religion is enough. Debt is wealth. Deficits are abundance. Unemployment is education. Exploitation is security. Vaccines are safe. Censorship is democracy. Homeland Security is not the ministry of fear-maintainence. Apathy is wakefulness. Televised newsfeed is truth. Government corruption and illegal warfare is a conspiracy theory." - Janet Napalm-idleclass Minister of Homeland Doublespeak
