I received an amazing critic by Jeremy Arney today. He sent me a copy of his letter to the Canadian Members of Parliament which exposed the lack of debate regarding the Canadian involvement in the illegal war being waged on Libya. http://jeremyarneysblog.wordpress.com/ If anyone will take five minutes and read it, you may possibly be stirred as I was. His letter to the Canadian MP's was based on material which is contained in a blog titled: "The Battle For Libyan Oil Fields" http://www.blissful-wisdom.com/the-battle-for-libyan-oil-fields.html
I offer up, in support of Mr. Arney, a short discussion of the term "conspiracy theory''...a term that is so often thrown about by our political leaders and mainstream media today.
Today, the term 'conspiracy theory' is used to end dialogue regarding possible false flag operations which our Governments would have us believe are not false flag operations. The term 'conspiracy theory' has been thrown at anyone who dares to question Washington, or even Canadian, reasons for illegal warfare. The term has been used to marginalize and insult those who dare to investigate outside of Washington/NATO, rubber-stamped, pro-war, televised newscasts. The term 'conspiracy theory' keeps the people from thinking outside of the televised reality. This is why calling specific criticism and investigation 'conspiracy theory' is counter productive.
The term 'conspiracy theory' is a ruse. When Government corruption could possibly be exposed, just tell the public that said corruption is just another 'conspiracy theory', and the dialogue and investigation is quickly shut down and marginalized today. Would the criminal expose his own crimes? Can those pulling the strings of illegal NATO/US warfare be relied upon to expose their own subterfuge?
I compiled a blog about present day deception and misinformation used to ''manufacture the consent of the populace" to support warfare. Warfare which profits the military/industrial complex and bankrupts the taxpayers who are left footing the compiling war debts. "Fabricating the Enemy, 9/11, and Rewritten History - Bill Woollam" Google that or here is the link: http://www.blissful-wisdom.com/fabricating-the-enemy-911-and-rewritten-history.html Take your pick of any of the compilations which use videos, documentaries, interviews and articles to enlighten any concerned citizen.
Some of the biggest 'conspiracy theories' come from the US Central Intelligence agency to justify further warfare. See the interview with former FBI Chief, Ted Gunderson: His interview is titled: "Most Terror Attacks Are Committed By Our CIA And FBI" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZ2VpfUqRoo&feature=player_embedded#at=306
Yes, some conspiracy theories are without evidence and thus make no sense. However, when investigation is carried out into specific cases, one may find evidence which exposes sinister activity. It is counter productive to label cases worthy of further investigation as 'conspiracy theory'. Even, John Le Carre' in his concluding remarks at the end of his novel ''The Constant Gardener" referred to the corruption within the triangle of the Pharmaceutical Industry, the University/Medical Research Institutions, and the Government: "In the real world, it is far more sinister than anything I have portrayed in this novel".
Likewise, one does find 'a lack of evidence' and weak justification for NATO declared warfare today. For example: declaring war on Iraq and using known, 'falsified' evidence of weapons of mass destruction to justify that war....or invading a sovereign country defending itself from armed insurrection (Libya). Would not the US President use the 'US troops' to quell an armed American insurrection, as Gaddafi did? So, what are the real motives of NATO bombings? A regime change which leaves the spoils of Libyan resources in the hands of a corporate oligarchy?
One fellow wrote to me: 'Conspiracy theory' is a label that was formulated to attribute craziness to the person being labeled, so that person's effectiveness and believability will be limited, even marginalized. At worst the person gets discredited when he or she is speaking the absolute truth. It is part of the dirty business of propaganda manipulation."
This is a time to ''think'' outside of 'televised reality'.
Warfare today is called "peacemaking" Middle Eastern citizens defending their homeland from NATO military assaults are called ''insurgents'' and 'terrorists' Death of foreign citizens by NATO missile attacks is called ''collateral damage'' Daring to questions lies and misinformation by Western Government leaders is called ''conspiracy theory".
