Wasn't Jesus an activist? He did more than simply revive a 'living' faith within the populace, he showed us all how transformation can occur.
Why was he an activist? Because.... -he debated Jewish rabbis. -he fed the hungry and poor. -he stopped the stoning of a woman. -he encouraged others to live in love, with a loving heart and loving actions.... -he expressed compassion towards others, and encouraged his followers to treat others with compassion. -he showed his distaste for the money changers and lenders, by upturning their tables in the temple. -he told others that though he was a son of God and did great things, that we, also, are sons of God and will do greater things.
Wasn't Jesus encouraging activism? Wasn't Jesus showing others that participating actively to bring about a better world is necessary?
What is needed today is clarity. In today's world, the money lenders are far more corrupt than they were two thousand years ago. Their sinister deeds have expanded to include global warfare and global financial fraud. The international bankers have survived by making their exploitation lucrative for all who participate in their corrupt activities. The money lenders are like the all-seeing eye atop the pyramid. That apex of power, held by the international money lenders, is supported by those who benefit financially off of global banking fraud and warfare. The global banking industry, the military/industrial complex, the oil industry, the pharmaceutical cartels, and the corporate-aligned political leaders all support that apex of sinister activity.
Jesus upturned the tables of the money lenders two thousand years ago. Those citizens who are aligned with global banking fraud and warfare dare to encourage participation in such life-destructive activities. Ron Paul states that there was no justification for American military intervention in Vietnam, Korea, Iraq or Libya. He states that the hijackers of 9/11 were a group of people not a group of nations. America needed to go after those responsible, not attack entire, non-affiliated, Middle Eastern nations who in no way threatened or provoked war. One of my thoughtful and wise American friends wrote me back with his concerns:
"Bill, It is more than frustrating to have to live and cope with the evils of the power mongers of life who control nations, the world, economics and many of the things in life that are taken for granted. We live with massive lies, distortions of truth, oceans of propaganda, endless manipulations and programmed deceptions.
The honest and innocent are maligned for speaking out, and there are people in this world who call "evil---good" and "good---evil."
Any sensible thinker has to know that Ron Paul has more common sense than almost every politician in government in the congress, senate or Whitehouse. But of course those with ulterior motives only seek to destroy Ron Paul through character assassination. This is always their method.
Those who control "news" have an obvious form of power that is very difficult to counter, as they spread their propaganda to millions relentlessly.
It is an old trick to produce writings that are fake or false and attribute those writings to a famous person. Apparently Ron Paul has been accused of writing material that he never wrote.
This is my belief about much of the Bible, where God is proclaimed to be the author of the butchery, barbarity and atrocities of the Old Testament and the book of "Revelation", both of which, to my thinking, so distort the truth about God that millions upon millions of people have a very distorted comprehension of God Almighty.
Some human beings seem to be without conscience, and think nothing of stooping to levels of conduct that are far beyond the mind of most human beings.
Nations and rulers of governments seem to never ask the question "what is the purpose of human life" and make decisions for the good of humanity, meanwhile their entire motive is totally selfish and without sensibility or compassion.
If I had my way, there would be no military of any kind on earth. There would be no industries that exist to manufacture instruments for human death and destruction, nor spying apparatus. There would be no "secret" services of any kind on earth. And any form of government would be bound with chains for eternity and extremely limited, if there should be any at all.
I don't claim to have the answers to human failings and it is obvious that governments of men don't either, and never have, and never will.
Even when sensible people such as Ron Paul, do have some beneficial answers, the human-hyenas all around devour such people.
Life is a never ending battle of minds and some sources seem to never mature, grow up or become responsible, as we see by the fruit of their decisions in politics and their mentality in the "news" media.
Many adults in the world of politics and in the "news" media and other areas of life are CHILDISH and juvenile in their mentality.
Mature people are not war-mongers, are not out to control everyone and everything on earth.
Mature people love their neighbors and treat them as human beings, not as cattle or sub-human as the war-mongers do.
Too bad, but much of the world is ruled by people of a juvenile mentality and their only way of thinking is selfishness.
These juvenile rulers and "news" media hyenas are the biggest fools in life on earth, because in time they also will exit life, return to dirt and never be seen or heard from again forever. In this life all they did was cause destruction. Sincerely Van Robison "
